Online Therapy

Life is hectic and schedules are full!

Traffic drains you…

And if you’re a parent, it’s not easy to schedule appointments between your baby’s naps… or you don’t want to bring them in to therapy.

Or you work long hours or are a student and adding “going to therapy” to your already full to-do list seems exhausting.

If getting to therapy is standing in the way of starting treatment, online therapy is a good alternative and can provide you with the help that you need.

Therapy from the comfort of your home, office, or vacation…

If you live in New York State, I offer online therapy through HIPAA-compliant video sessions (which means it’s completely secure and confidential in an online world).

If traveling to in-person sessions does not work for you, we can utilize the latest technology that will allow you to continue treatment from the comfort of your home (and without having to get “dressed”!).

And the best part is, you don’t have to worry about running into anyone you know!

Are you skeptical about online therapy?

I hear you! I was, too. But then” life got in the way” of my traveling to my supervisor (which was like therapy), and online supervision became my only option.

It was convenient, relaxed, and effective… and being in my own environment added a level of comfort that may have even enhanced my experience!

Technology gives you access to confidential therapy…

For online or phone sessions to be effective, it is important that you are in a place where there will be no interruptions for the duration of the session and that you have privacy where our conversation cannot be overheard by others. Additionally, a strong Internet connection is necessary to keep our sessions flowing without technological interruptions.

When you’re ready to get started, I’ll send you a link to a virtual office using a program called doxy.me. From your phone, tablet, or computer, you can click on a link and follow the prompts at your appointment time to begin our online session.

No more excuses…

If this sounds right for you, call me today: (516) 253-1918.

We will have a short 5- to 10-minute conversation, and we’ll see if we’re a good to fit to work together. We’ll also talk about what you are struggling with and what you hope to gain.

Inconvenience doesn’t have to interfere with your ability to get the help you need.
